The Strokes gear up for summer return
Posted on 10 Feb 2010 15:23 to category : Band / Celebrity News

The Strokes are back in the studio ahead of their summer return to the UK, Fabrizio Moretti, the man behind the drum kit in the band, has confirmed.
Speaking to the BBC, Moretti said the band has a busy schedule lined up ahead of the release of their fourth album, with appearances due to take place at the RockNess and Isle of Wight festivals this year.
The drummer said: "We're going to rehearse as soon as we get out of the studio.
"As soon as we're done recording, we're going to go in and practise all those old songs."
The new album is due out in September and Moretti said it was great to be part of The Strokes once again.
He added that he already had "butterflies in my stomach" ahead of the band's return to live shows.
Since they released First Impressions of Earth back in 2006, lead singer Julian Casablancas and electric guitar player Albert Hammond Jr have both recorded solo albums.
