The Rolling Stones sell out Hyde Park in minutes
So much so that the gig at the iconic London venue sold out in just three minutes, even though the cheapest tickets were priced at £95, increasing to £300 for the premium places.
The event, which is due to take place on July 6th, is the first time the band have played the open-air venue since their iconic 1969 show.
Even for The Rolling Stones, a three-minute sell out is a record, smashing their previous best of seven minutes for tickets for last year's O2 Arena gig by four minutes.
The band are pressing ahead with the outdoor show and another at this year's Glastonbury Festival, despite the fact that drummer Charlie Watts has said he does not want to play in the elements, as he fears it will affect his ability to perform.
