The Rolling Stones hint at guest stars for upcoming tour

The band recently sold out their show in Hyde Park in the space of three minutes.

The Rolling Stones could be joined by some famous faces on their upcoming tour, according to guitarist Keith Richards.

The band recently announced a huge show at Hyde Park in London, which took just three minutes to sell out and sits alongside their headline appearance at this year's Glastonbury festival.

Mick Jagger and co will also be hopping across the pond for a select number of shows in the US, and Richards has hinted that they could be joined on stage by a number of high-profile names during the stint.

Speaking to Associated Press, Richards said: "I have a feeling there's more openness about playing it the same way. I can't name names or make promises, but that area of the show is open."

The band's 2012 tour in London and New York saw the likes of Lady Gaga, Bruce Springsteen and Florence and the Machine's Florence Welch join them at the high-profile performances.

The rapid speed in which the Hyde Park date sold out caused further speculation about whether The Rolling Stones will be adding another London date in the coming weeks.
