The Prodigy announce 'end of the world' shows
Posted on 26 Oct 2012 10:08 to category : Band / Celebrity News

The band will play London's Brixton Academy on December 18th and 19th and have described the shows as being an "end of the world extravaganza" due to predictions about the planet's demise.
According to an ancient Mayan prophecy, the earth is due to end on December 21st. This was placed into pop culture by the 2009 disaster movie 2012 which depicted a number of huge tidal waves engulfing the globe.
Joining The Prodigy for these two iconic shows will be Jaguar Skulls (18th) and Araab Muzik (19th) while Caspa, Southcentral and Gedo Mega Bitch will be appearing on both of these nights.
A message from the group: "Yo my peoples... fired up to be bringing Warrior's Dance back to the UK for its London debut at Brixton. We're gonna finish 2012 in style with a mega line up of beats, bass n noise. We are coming home! Respect. Keef, Liam & Maxim."
These shows are sure to be huge and should the world end, it could be the last opportunity fans get to see The Prodigy is such an intimate setting.
