The Libertines 'to play more gigs'
Electric guitar player Carl Barat has said The Libertines may play more gigs together in the future.
The indie band reformed for this year's Reading and Leeds festivals and Barat told German music blog Taz.de that more shows may be on the cards.
However, he added further reunion performances are likely to be sporadic and an extensive programme of touring is not in the pipeline.
"Every band is doing a reunion and we would never get together and do an Up The Bracket tour for three years around the world," the electric guitar player explained.
The star has just finished a solo tour of the UK and Europe which took in dates in Holland, Belgium, Germany, France and Italy.
Barat played the shows in support of the release of his self-titled debut album, which came out in October and features Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt and the Divine Comedy's Neil Hannon.
