The Killers named as headliner for Isle of Wight Festival 2013
Brandon Flowers and co complete the top slots for the event after The Stone Roses and Bon Jovi were also named as headliners which organisers say adds an eclectic and electric experience.
John Giddings, the festival's promoter, said: "We are proud to bring one of the world's greatest rock bands of the last decade to our small island off the south coast of England…thanks for coming, it will be a weekend to remember!"
The Isle of Wight was hit by bad weather last year with many festival goers getting severely delayed as heavy rain poured down on to the three-day event and there are hopes there is not a repeat performance in 2013.
The Killers were forced to reschedule two Manchester dates of their November UK tour after Flowers complained of vocal problems forcing the abandonment of one of the gigs and then issued a full apology to the fans that had turned up to the sold-out shows.
Fans looking to go to the Isle of Wight Festival will be able to take advantage of exclusive ticket offers on the event's website.
