The Gaslight Anthem 'have fallen in love with Gibson Les Paul guitars'
guitars have been praised by a member of The Gaslight Anthem.
Speaking to the Gibson website, the band's frontman Brian Fallon explained that guitarist Alex Rosamilia and himself both "really fell in love" with the musical instruments when on tour in the past year.
"On tour we never take any other guitars," said Fallon.
"There's no point. You can get any sound you need with the guitars we have."
He added that The Gaslight Anthem's new record, American Slang, relies heavily on the use of Gibson Les Paulguitars, with the instruments featuring on all of the main tracks and "99 per cent" of the overdubs.
Frehley said that he prefers Les Paul Customs when performing on stage as he believes them to be "simply the best guitars for loud rock 'n' roll".
