The Futureheads have launched an appeal for fans to select songs for their new album.
The indie rock band - who won the NME Best Single award for their 2005 cover of Kate Bush classic 'Hounds of Love' - announced via twitter they would be releasing a new record full of a cappella versions of their previous tracks.
Vocalist Barry Hyde, speaking on the social networking site, said: "We are making an a cappella album and want you to help us decide which of our songs to do! Get your requests in now! o-oo o-oo o-a-o etc. (sic)"
The four-piece British group - who managed to spend just £200 recording single 'Struck Dumb' in 2009 -revealed they are also set to compile an album of covers once the a cappella record is completed.
They tweeted: "Which of OUR songs dudes! A covers album will follow, job in hand and all that sht! X (sic)"
Fans inundated the group with their preferences, with Barry stating that more than 30 songs were requested within the first 3 minutes.
He revealed: "B***y Norah over 30 songs requests in 3 mins. Jeez Louise! Keep em' coming. I'm collating averages to decide you see. This is fun. B x (sic)"
