The Darkness reform with original line-up
Electric guitar band The Darkness have reformed with their four original members and are booked to play at this year's Download Festival.
The group are also planning to head to the studio in order to record a new album in the next couple of months.
Justin Hawkins, the frontman in The Darkness, told BBC Newsbeat he has been making new music with his brother and the band's electric guitar player Dan for a couple of years.
"The main thing for us is to make sure that musically we turn the experience into something positive again," he said.
"We've been remembering why it was so much fun in the first place, just four men making loud music in a room."
The star added that he plans to continue wearing the infamous all-in-one bodysuits he was known to sport during the band's original time in the spotlight, even promising to appear in a "cranked-up version" of the outfits.
Hawkins and the rest of The Darkness will appear at Download on June 10th ahead of a headline slot from Def Leppard.
Other acts on this year's bill include Frank Turner, System of a Down, Linkin Park and Pendulum.
