The Coral to release acoustic edition of Butterfly House
The Coral have taken out their acoustic guitars to work on a stripped-down version of their latest album Butterfly House.
A decision to make the recording was made after the band played several well-received acoustic gigs in support of the LP earlier this year.
Singer James Skelly told NME the acoustic version had been recorded and mixed in a single day.
"The songs stand up really well and the album shows them in their raw form," he said.
Fans of the group will be able to get their hands on the acoustic album from December 6th.
The Coral played a live show at the Royal Albert Hall in London last night (November 15th) and have three more gigs left to perform this month.
They are due to appear in Oxford and Glasgow later this week, before rounding off their UK tour with a performance at Liverpool University on November 20th.
