The Black Keys scoop 4 Grammy Awards
The US band were the most-successful act of the night, only missing out on two honours that they had been shortlisted for. They walked away with the title of Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for their single Lonely Boy, while their latest record, El Camino, was named Best Rock Album.
Vocalist and producer Dan Auerbach was also bestowed with the Grammy Award for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical). Auerbach worked with co-producer Danger Mouse to create El Camino at his Easy Eye Sound Studio in Nashville, Tennesee.
It was not just The Black Keys that had a successful night, though, with the likes of Mumford & Sons, Adele and Gotye all claiming awards.
The latter picked up the sought-after accolades of Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance with the chart-storming hit Somebody That I Used To Know which featured Kimbra.
The UK was represented as well, with Mumford & Sons claiming Best Album for Babel while Adele scooped Best Pop Solo Performance for the live rendition of Set Fire To The Rain.
