Taylor Hawkins 'uncomfortable with release of Foo Fighters doc'
Taylor Hawkins, the man behind the drum kit in the Foo Fighters, has said he feels uncomfortable about the forthcoming release of a new documentary about the band.
Back and Forth is to be screened in a selection of British cinemas on Thursday (April 7th) and follows the group's attempts to make new record Wasting Light, as well as charting their history together.
Hawkins told NME that the film contains plenty of moments that were difficult for him to watch, especially as it goes over the group coming close to splitting up.
But the drummer added fans of the Foos may feel differently about the documentary when they watch it.
"Trying to look at it from the outside and judge it and have some sort of perspective, I think it's actually way more interesting than I thought a movie about us was going to be," Hawkins admitted.
Foo Fighters are set to make their way to the UK on several occasions in the next few months, with the group lined up to headline Radio One's Big Weekend in Carlisle during May.
They have also been booked to play at the Isle of Wight Festival and T in the Park.
