Tanglewood secures distributor for India
Officials at the company stated that following the Palm Music Expo in Mumbai it had signed a contract with Saptaswara Musical Distribution of Chennai to supply the nation in the future, MI Pro reports.
Tanglewood had been researching the potential of the Indian market for the past few months and finally made the decision to go with the Southern India-based organisation.
The two will now be involved in a rigorous marketing campaign to get the Tanglewood brand recognised in the country. This will encompass print, social media and musical educator and officials are expecting a substantial market share attainment over the next 12 to 24 months.
Saptaswara has been involved in wholesale and retail sales for the past 35 years and is one of the largest manufacturers of traditional Southern Indian instruments.
Tanglewood is one of the most well-known names within the music industry selling a host of instruments from acoustic guitars to ukuleles.
