TC Electronic Polytune Now Shipping
Posted on 24 Feb 2010 15:33 to category : Instruments News

The world's first polyphonic tuner is now available - introducing the new TC Electronic PolyTune.
Tuning string by string, whether on stage, at home or in the studio can be a slow and frustrating affair.
TC Electronic have come up with the solution through creating a tuner that displays the tunings of all your guitar or bass guitar strings at the same time.
With one strum, the PolyTune will tell you which strings need tuning, enabling a much faster tuning process and enabling you to get back to the important bit - playing!
For guitarists who enjoy playing at different pitches, the PolyTune will work with dropped tunings from E-flat down to B.
The 109 LEDs on the PolyTune will dim automatically in low light conditions and get brighter when there's more light, helping you to always read a clear display.
More impressive still, the PolyTune also has a chromatic tuning mode and by recognising whether you are playing one or multiple strings, the PolyTune will display the appropriate tuning mode (chromatic or polyphonic).
The PolyTune also delivers high-quality precision tuning with up to 0.5 cent accuracy.
The PolyTune has been heavily praised in reviews worldwide and recently won the 'Best in Show' award at NAMM 2010.
In a recent review from Music Radar, the PolyTune was said to be "a genuine step forward for pedal tuners" and was "highly recommended".
