Supro Reveal Big Star 2x12 Amplifier And Titan Cab
Supro is one of the iconic guitar brands that has seen legends like Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin utilise their definitive rock sound. And now the firm has announced the release of the Big Star 2x12 - a combo amplifier, which is officially the largest Supro 1964 reissue.
The Big Star boasts two custom 12" speakers, which are driven by 25 watts of class A tube power. It also has two channels wired in parallel with automatic linking of both channels. One channel is voiced one octave below the other and when both are engaged they help provide that thick, vintage Supro sound that has stood the test of time in rock'n'roll history.
The second offering is the Titan Extension Cabinet. A 12" speaker cab that can handle 75 watts of power via an Eminence Supro HP12 speaker. The cab is also billed as: "the ideal companion to the compact-yet-mighty Titan 1/10 Combo amplifier."
When the Titan and the cab are combined the maximum power and headroom are developed and provide an even fuller sound from the 6L6 power section.
