Strymon Introduce The Sunset Dual Overdrive Pedal

Strymon's Sunset Dual Overdrive pedal
Strymon's Sunset Dual Overdrive pedal
Bringing it right back to the good ol' days, Strymon's new Sunset pedal endeavours to bring you "the best of the best classic overdrive circuits" at the hands of its on-board analogue class-A JFET circuit and SHARC digital processor. Featuring six overdrive and boost circuit styles, the user can assign any through the pedal's two featured channels.

Studying 6 different circuit types that are found in the world's most iconic pedals, Strymon have meticulously reciprocated their unique tonality and condensed them into one single-two channel unit. With two channels at your disposal and an array of parameters to be explored, you really can experience the benefits of creative flexibility. Each independently selectable and able to be routed with ease, the pedal has been designed so that it complements any additional tones that are stacked as you play. For those who want to achieve a more layered and multi-dimensional tone, the potential to stack your sound opens up the opportunities for expanding your sonic palette. Its six unique circuits and endless stream of customisable options let you push and pull your amps tone in any way you want. From heavy saturated fuzz to a crystalline 'more amp' like tone, control is placed directly in your hands (and feet!).

Channel A's overdrive circuits include both germanium and Texas sounds, as well as an additional treble booster. Channel B on the other hand features a two-stage soft-clip overdrive, single-stage hard clipping and JFET clean boost. Each of the pedal's available circuits has been specifically designed so that they operate seamlessly with one another, allowing you to re-rout your chain or run it in a parallel fashion. The back of the pedal houses a three-position bright switch that conveniently matches your amp whilst effectively reducing auditory interferences such as hisses and hums.
