Steph Carter of Gallows praises Vox electric guitars
Following the release of their latest album, Grey Britain, guitarist and vocalist Steph Carter of UK Hardcore Punk band Gallows has added two new Vox electric guitars to his live rig.
Already an avid user of the Vox guitar amps, Carter has added both the 55 and 77 series guitars to his set up and has "finally found an instrument I'm happy with."
"I really like the pickups and the different tonal variations you can get out of it" said Carter.
"It's been designed to play, as well as to sound however you want it to sound," he went on to say.
The 55 series and 77 series Vox electric guitars combine advanced production methods with hands-on craftsmanship to provide a remarkably playable, yet versatile instrument.
Gallows broke on to the international music seen after the release of their 2005 album 'Orchestra of Wolves', distributed in the US by Epitaph records.
The album caught the attention of Warner Bros. who subsequently signed them up for a reported £1 million record deal.
Gallows are currently touring the UK after a long summer playing major European festivals such as Sonisphere and Pukkelpop.Posted on 2 Dec 2010 17:58 to category : Instruments News
