Steinberg release Cubase 5.5 update

Audio Software developers Steinberg have announced the hugely anticipated and immediate release of popular software series Cubase and Cubase Studio version 5.5.
The brand-new version comes as a free update to all registered users of version 5 and gives users running older versions the perfect excuse to upgrade.
Cubase 5.5 delivers many new features as well as performance enhancements that improve workflow and lower CPU usage.
The automation panel has been given an overhaul, offering easier access to mixing & plug-in parameters.
The sample editor has also seen significant change when it comes to working with loops.
A newly designed hit-detection algorithm and the introduction of a local timeline makes the AudioWarping function much more efficient and more powerful.
Groove Agent ONE welcomes the addition of 19 brand-new and exclusive vintage drum kits as well as visual sample-editing.
LoopMash is given track-dedicated level meters, individual volume controls and a global similarity threshold slider.
Furthermore, the video editing feature is given an accelerated engine and full HD support.
Other enhancements include improvements to the MediaBay, Scrubbing function and the Channel Batch Export window.
Used in studios around the world, Steinberg know how to create recording and production computer software and cubase is the proof.
