Status Quo guitarist: I wish I had practised more
Posted on 1 Feb 2010 11:23 to category : Instruments News

Status Quo guitar player Francis Rossi has revealed one of his biggest regrets that he did not practise enough when he was younger.
The star said he now takes out his Fender Telecasterguitar on a daily basis to ensure that his playing is up to standard.
"I'm about as good now as I should've been when I was 25," he told Time Out Dubai.
Rossi added that success had gone to his head and he believed he didn't need to work on his guitar playing.
But he explained that he is now a changed man when it comes to improving his abilities on the Fender Telecaster.
"I always practise for two hours every day. I always practise before we go on," he said.
"Anything to get better. It's a bit late in life, but I don't care."
In December, Status Quo were named as the hardest working band in Britain by the Performing Rights Society.
Last year, the group played to more than 250,000 people in 27 arena shows up and down the country.
