Stars watch Jeff Beck tribute to Les Paul
The gig took place at the Iridium Night Club in New York - a venue where Paul used to play every week.
Among the musicians who came to watch Beck's performance were Meat Loaf, Kirk Hammett from Metallica and Bruce Springsteen's bandmate Steven Van Zandt.
The E Street Blues guitarist told BBC News that Beck's performance was "the best show I ever seen in my life".
Beck played Paul classics such as High How the Moon as well as several other covers.
The show finished with interpretations of Bill Haley songs Rock Around the Clock and Shake, Rattle, and Roll.
Last month, Beck told the Gibson website that Paul was one of his major inspirations when he was younger and is still a "powerful influence" on his playing style.
