The paper's website quotes an anonymous interviewee as saying that Victoria Beckham – who alongside the four other members of the 1990s girl band enjoyed hits such as Spice Up Your Life and Wannabe – is "looking forward to seeing" her one-time band mates.
The source continues: "The musical is a proud moment for them all. It will be emotional."
The Spice show has the title Viva Forever – the same as that of one of the Spices' singles, which hit number one back in 1998. No doubt many music instruments will be involves in the production.
The Spice Girls shot to massive success during the 90's, following their debut single Wannabe and debut album, titled simply Spice.
They were involved in a film, Spiceworld: The Move, which starred Richard E Grant.
The film also featured many of their hits, such as Too Much and the aforementioned Viva Forever.
