Spandau Ballet's Saxophonist Sticks With Yamaha
Much to the delight of music fans worldwide, Spandau Ballet recently reformed with all five original members coming back together.
The band's saxophonist and founder Steve Norman has been working with Yamaha's saxophone expert Stephen Adcock to set himself up with brand new Soprano, Alto and Tenor saxophones from the Yamaha Custom range.
These new saxophones can be heard on the band's new album, and Steve will also be heard (and seen) using them throughout the band's forthcoming world tour.
Each Yamaha Custom Series Saxophone offers a wide dynamic range, stunning projection, and superbly defined tones.
Steve's Alto Saxophone of choice was the YAS875EXB.
Saxophonists will be pleased to know that professional Yamaha alto saxophones are also available at a lower cost, including the superb YAS275, offering high quality features at a student model price.
