Sonisphere Sound Kept Massive with Peavey
Posted on 12 Aug 2010 12:58 to category : Music News

For the second year running the massive European touring mega-festival that is Sonisphere, was rife with Peavey artists
Funeral For A Friend and the reunited and much missed Earthtone 9 both headlined stages over the weekend showing the might of their 6505 Heads.
The cross-over sensation Pendulum played main support to Iron Maiden showcasing a selection of custom HP Special Guitars.
That is not to forget the likes of metal cellists, Apocalyptica showing the versatility of the 6505, while Turisas demonstrated the Cirrus basses suitability to battle metal.
Every aspect of the Peavey range was showcased at it's very best.
More Peavey endorsees included Bring Me The Horizon and Fightstar with the 6505 Series, and Max Cavalera rolling his trusty 3120s along.
It's no wonder that the younger bands at the festival such as Evile, Rise To Remain, Malefice and Sylosis have all adopted the same backline.
With Craig Ahead from Sick Of It All giving the Peavey VB-3 it's first UK festival outing, it all goes to prove that in 2010 Peavey truly was the reliable sound of Sonisphere!
