Solo album for Mel B
Mel B is working on a new solo album.
The former Spice Girl - who has had limited success as a solo artist - has already laid down some tracks for a new LP but wants doesn't want to rush it because it's something she wants to be proud of.
Told fitforfun.de: "I'm just about to finish my new album. I already have seven songs and I need 15 to 20 before I decide which of them I want to have on the album. The record shall become a real blast and that's why I take my time."
As she prepares to re-launch her singing career, the mother-of-two has recently embarked on a fitness regime but says she has no intention of working out with her husband, Stephen Balafonte.
She said: "My training time belongs to my friends and I won't change that. It's pure girl power when we gossip and giggle. My husband has no business being there."
Mel also cheekily revealed she and Stephen - who married in 2007 - exercise together in more pleasurable ways.
