The Kooks are planning a sober comeback this summer.
The 'Naive' rockers will play at the opening of the new Mallorca Rocks hotel in Magaluf, Spain, but have vowed to curb their drinking as they fled from a £4,000 bar tab after playing at sister hotel Ibiza Rocks.
Frontman Luke Pritchard said: "We've got to try and curb it a bit because I'm getting older and the hangovers get worse.
"We've done the Ibiza one twice and it's good fun. You go on late, amps blow up - loads of decadent, unimaginably crazy behaviour. I hope Mallorca will be like that."
Luke also admitted the band has spent a long time recording the follow-up to 2008 album 'Konk' because of internal disputes in the group.
He added to the Daily Star newspaper: "It got a bit much and we had to make a few changes. We were falling out a lot so it wasn't the most creative time. But now I feel we're writing the best music we've ever done."
Despite the difficulties surrounding the recording, Luke insists the band's third album, due for release this summer, will have a positive outlook.
He said: "I just want to make a f***ing happy record, one that makes you feel good in the summer."
The Kooks play Mallorca Rocks at its official opening party on June 6.
