Snow Patrol drummer confirms new album will be released next year
Posted on 8 Jun 2010 20:15 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Jonny Quinn, the man behind the drum kit in Snow Patrol, has revealed that the band are looking to release a new album next year.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Quinn stated that the band are planning to record their new material in October, with the results being made available to the public soon after that.
"It will be after February and before July," the drummer explained.
Singer Gary Lightbody added that he has found writing new songs outdoors to be well suited to him.
"I live by the sea in Ireland and I find that's the most inspiring time, sitting with a guitar on the beach," the musician explained.
Lightbody is currently involved with side project Tired Pony, a group which also features REM's Peter Buck.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music last month, Lightbody revealed that the band's debut album, The Places We Ran From, has a country music feel.
