Snoop Dogg's impossible shoes
Posted on 13 Jul 2010 16:30 to category : Music News

Snoop Dogg thinks it will be very difficult for other artists to follow in his footsteps.
The iconic hip hop star - who was discovered by rap mogul Dr Dre in 1992 - believes other rappers should aim to be the best they can possibly be nut doesn't think anyone will be able to match his success.
He told Clash magazine: "It's hard to walk in these shoes, know what I'm saying? I always tell aspiring artists to be the best you can be because you never know what it's going to be.
"I never knew I was going be as successful as I was but people loved what I did so much, and I did what I did because I loved it so much. It's all about having a little bit of luck and being able to capitalise."
The 'Signs' hitmaker - whose debut album 'Doggystyle' went quadruple platinum in 1993 - also admitted playing at Glastonbury festival in Somerset, South-West England in June wasn't a particularly intimidating experience, because he just enjoys performing in front of people who love his music.
He said: "I love being in front of the people who love me. I played Glastonbury and it was 90,000, 50,000 whatever - I never pay attention to how many people - I'm all about the expression and the feeling that the people give me.
"If there's five people and they got a lot of energy, then those five people can bring a better show out of you than 90,000 because sometimes all those people don't have the energy of a smaller crowd."
