Smashing Pumpkins announce UK tour
Billy Corgan and co will kick off at Manchester Academy on July 1st before moving on to Glasgow's O2 Academy 24 hours later on July 2nd and then returning to UK shores on July 22nd for a huge show at London's Wembley Arena.
It will mark the first time Smashing Pumpkins have toured the country since the release of Oceania which was brought out in June 2012, their seventh studio record and newest material since 2009's Teargarden by Kaleidyscope.
The band have gone through a number of different line-up changes since they announced their reformation in 2005 with Corgan remaining as the only original member.
He is joined now by guitarist Jeff Shroeder, drummer Mike Byrne and bassist Nicole Fiorentino and the band are currently preparing for a handful of festival performances in the US and Mexico before heading to Europe.
Tickets for the UK dates go on sale on February 1st.
