Slash's best guitar solos revealed
The five best guitar riffs ever performed by Slash have been listed.
According to music journalist Sean Patrick Dooley, the former Guns N' Roses star is one of the most influential guitarists of his generation.
"It wasn't all about speed on the fretboard with Slash, though he could give you that," said the writer.
"He made music that you knew would stand the test of time."
In third place was new solo track Crucify the Dead, which features Ozzy Osborne, while Paradise City took the runner's up spot.
Mr Dooley went on to name Watch This as containing Slash's best guitar riff.
Earlier this month, Slash revealed the favourite riffs of his own, telling the Times that Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love and The Who's Sparks are among the songs which contain guitar playing that most impresses him.Posted on 17 May 2010 11:38 to category : Music News
