Slash joins forces with Macy Gray

Electric guitar player Slash has added his distinctive sound to the new album by Macy Gray.
The Velvet Revolver star has been friends with Gray for many years but this is the first time they have ever worked together.
Slash, who usually plays a Gibson Les Paul, appears on a track called Kissed It, which is featured on Gray's new album The Sellout.
Speaking to AOL Music UK, Gray said: "Every record that I've done, Slash has turned me down.
"But this time he called me back in five minutes and said he'd love to do it."
Slash appears on the track alongside his Velvet Revolver bandmates Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan.
The band is currently on hiatus following the departure of singer Scott Weiland.
However, Slash has kept busy by recording and releasing a solo album, which features big names such as Flea, Fergie, Iggy Pop and Dave Grohl.
