Slash and Noel Gallagher to join the Faces on stage
Posted on 29 May 2010 09:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Noel Gallagher and former Guns 'N' Roses star Slash have been invited to play electric guitar alongside the original Faces line-up.
Ronnie Wood, Ian McLagan, Kenney Jones, Glen Matlock from the Sex Pistols and Simply Red frontman Mick Hucknall are to reform the 70s rock band for a UK tour and festival dates in the summer.
The two electric guitar players have been asked to guest star in the line-up along with a slew of other older and contemporary artists, while Wood has said that he is open to the idea of performing with former frontman Rod Stewart.
He said: "We've had Noel Gallagher, Kelly Jones from the Stereophonics, Chris Robinson from the Black Crows There's loads of people who have said 'Oh please let's sing with you'. And Slash is going to help us on guitar when he can fit in between his promotions."
Noel Gallagher recently gave his backing to the English bid to host the 2018 World Cup, joining stars such as Fatboy Slim, Kid British and Pete Tong in Umbro's I'm In campaign.
