Sir Paul McCartney stunned after selling out tour
Posted on 1 Dec 2009 14:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Bass guitar player Sir Paul McCartney has expressed surprise at how quickly his upcoming London gig sold out.
Tickets for the former Beatle's concert at the O2 Arena later this month were all snapped up within four seconds of going on sale.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, Sir Paul revealed that when he was first told the news, he thought it was a joke.
However, he added that knowing the members of the audience "want to come really badly" should help him feel comfortable when performing on the night.
"I love playing to them," he commented.
"It's more of a mutual motivation now."
Sir Paul will also be performing gigs in other European cities including Dublin, Berlin and Paris later this month.
The tour coincides with the release of his new DVD Good Evening New York City, which features live versions of classics such as Paperback Writer, Hey Jude, Day Tripper and Band on the Run.
