Signed Fender Stratocaster to be auctioned for charity

A Fender Stratocaster signed by Hank Marvin is expected to raise thousands of pounds when it is auctioned off for a good cause.
The electric guitar player added his signature to an instrument donated by Fender, which will be sold to raise money for an organ donation charity.
Tom McDonald, founder of the group, told the News that the Fender Stratocaster is "priceless" and likely to go up in value over the next few years.
"I'm good at making contacts and Fender were kind enough to send me the Stratocaster, which is the best of the best," he commented.
Hank Marvin is widely regarded as one of the most influential electric guitar players of all time, thanks to seminal Shadows hits such as FBI, Apache and The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt.
Mr McDonald set up his charity following the death of his 16-year-old daughter, who died of a heart attack seven years ago.
