Shockwaves NME Tour 2010 Features Only Zildjian Cymbals

In the lead up to the official NME Awards, taking place tonight, the Shockwaves 2010 tour highlights bands from the independent and alternative scene.
Many acts on the tour have gone on to become incredibly successful stars such as Arctic Monkeys, The Killers, Florence and The Machine, Lostprophets and Stereophonics.
Each band on this year's tour (The Maccabees, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Big Pink and The Drums) features a Zildjian endorsed drummer.
Sam of The Maccabees, the tour's headliners, has been with Zildjian since last year and using Quick Beat Hi-Hats, a K Custom Hybrid Ride and an A Custom Crash.
Bombay Bicycle Club's drummer Suren is a recent addition to Zildjian, and uses A Mastersound Hi Hats, a K Dark Thin Crash, an A Ping Ride and a K Light Ride.
The Big Pink broke through in the UK in 2009 and have a USA tour planned, including SXSW festival, for the coming months.
Their drummer Akiko uses A Mastersound Hi Hats, a K Dark Thin Crash and a K Crash Ride.
The only US band on the tour, The Drums, are just about to commence a UK tour and are hotly tipped to be the band of 2010.
Connor Hanwick, The Drums' drummer, use K Custom Hybrid Hi-Hats, an A Custom Fast Crash and a K Custom Dark Ride.
