Shinedown musician picks up Fender guitars and amps

Shinedown guitar player Zach Myers has picked up more musical instruments and equipment from Fender.
The manufacturer's official blog FrontRow explained that Myers has recently ordered around half a dozen new instruments from the company, including a John Mayer Special Edition Black 1 Stratocaster.
But with Shinedown preparing for their first acoustic tour, the musician visited Fender's headquarters in Scottsdale to pick up some more gear from the firm.
"Myers went ahead and stocked up on our new Hot Rod Deville III amps and four new Super-Sonic 212 cabs for his live rig," it was explained.
Shinedown's acoustic tour is set to get underway on November 4th 2010, with the first gig taking place in Tampa, Florida.
The band will then play a host of dates across the US, taking in shows in Atlantic City and Washington DC before bringing the run to a close in New Orleans on December 9th.
