Shaun Ryder on the hunt for UFOs
Shaun Ryder, who captured the hearts of a nation when he appeared on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here last year, is to travel all around the globe looking for signs of extraterrestrial life for a new TV show.
Working for the History Channel, Ryder, who has said before that he saw a UFO when he was 15, will kick off the journey in his hometown of Manchester, reported the Sun.
Ryder genuinely believes there is a wormhole in the city, one which allows travellers to take a "shortcut" through time and space.
Of aliens, the star told the newspaper: "Once they see you, they keep an eye on you."
Ryder is going through something of a renaissance since his reality TV performance. He's picked up his solo career and even had time to write a memoir, titled Twisting My Melon.
Back in May he showed how ahead of the game he was by predicting The Stone Roses would get back together again.
"I think it'll happen, I really do. There is more of a chance now than ever of them getting back together. Ian just split with his missus and I bet she's hit him for a few quid," he said.
