Shania Twain to televise comeback
Posted on 9 Apr 2010 07:00 to category : Band / Celebrity News

Shania Twain has landed her own reality TV show about her musical comeback.
The 'Man! I Feel Like a Woman' singer took a break from recording after splitting with her husband of 14 years, Robert 'Mutt' Lange in 2008 but is now filming a TV show about her comeback for Oprah Winfrey's US TV channel OWN with a programme entitled 'Why Not? With Shania Twain'.
A spokesperson for the channel said: "The show will follow Shania as she begins her climb back to the top, a personal journey filled with risk, revelations and unexpected adventures."
The country singer said she was feeling inspired to write songs again by a break in the sun this February.
She wrote on her website:"I'm writing to you from the Caribbean where I'm warming up after a cold stretch in Canada during the holidays. The sunny weather gets me into writing mode. Many of the songs from 'The Woman In Me' and 'Come On Over' were written in the tropics so it's a good place for me to be creative."
An air date for the programme has not been announced, though Shania is expected to follow it with a new album.
