Scottish International Festival of Trumpets to feature Yamaha display

The forthcoming Scottish International Festival of Trumpets will include a display of musical instruments from Yamaha.
It is set to take place between June 18th and 20th 2010, with Yamahatrumpets to feature in the trade fair being held in Elgin town hall.
The event will also feature live recitals from Yamaha artists Andrea Tofanelli and Nathaniel Mayfield.
Tofanelli has performed with the likes of George Michael, Burt Bacharach, Tom Jones and Michael Buble over the course of his career, while Mayfield has previously won both the International Trumpet Guild Solo Competition and the Yamaha Young Performing Artist Competition.
The Scottish International Trumpet Competition is occur as part of the festival and will be split into two categories, classical and jazz.
A final gala concert to bring down the curtain on the event will see the top three performers in both categories handed their prizes, as well as playing live.
