Rolling Stones Fender Squier guitar available in charity auction

A Fender Squire guitar signed by all the members of the Rolling Stones is being sold to raise money for Haiti.
Great deals on musical instruments

A Fender Squier guitar signed by the Rolling Stones is being auctioned off for charity.

The instrument, which has been signed by Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Woods and Charlie Watts, is to be sold off via an Irish radio station later this week, reports the Mayo News.

Midwest Radio will host the auction of the white Fender Squire guitar in aid of the Gena Harety Haiti Fund.

The piece of Rolling Stones memorabilia was donated by businessman Noel Staunton, who said: "Gena is a neighbour of mine and I am happy to donate the guitar to raise funds for her work.

"She is an inspiration to us all."

Ms Harety is a volunteer worker with international aid agency Nos Petits Freres et Soeurs, which runs an orphanage in Haiti.

Several of the organisation's buildings were destroyed during the recent earthquake that hit the country.

Last month, a Fender Stratocasterguitar played by Alex Turner in the Arctic Monkeys' video for I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor raised £4,600 for Oxfam's efforts in the country following an internet auction.
