Roland's "The Future. Redefined" Products Now on Sale at Gear4music

Exploring a radical new approach to DJing the DJ-808 allows the user to focus on the audio whilst providing absolutely unlimited control through touch alone. With next level integration with Serato DJ, the 808 encourages a seamless interaction with your tracks through the use of its built-in VT voice Transformer. This voice transformer allows you to pitch your voice to the exact key of the track.
A perfect balance between software and hardware is a rare commodity in modern controllers, but not in the Roland DJ- 808. Combining Serato DJ with the supreme performance capabilities of Roland DJ Hardware, the Roland DJ-808 utilises a number of tools to ensure optimum performance and creative opportunity. The controller features an on board Roland TR Drum Machine to provide the user with unmistakable percussion associated with defining entire genres of dance music. With a number of dedicated rotary knobs, the user can input varying degrees of attack, decay and tuning.
Also featured within the Roland DJ-808 is the TR-S sequencer, which is capable of triggering the entirely new 8-slot Serato Sampler within Serato DJ.
