Roland unveils new electric piano
Posted on 12 Jun 2009 13:30 to category : Music News
Musicians who want to enjoy a variety of sounds at their fingertips may be keen to invest in the new Roland DP-990R Designer Piano.
This is the latest addition to Roland's range of electronic keyboards, and includes a number of features which allow it to accurately imitate a real grand piano.
The 88-key instrument includes individual multi-samples for every note, every one of which can be uniquely customised.
Musicians can craft their own perfect sound by manipulating functions such as the damper and adjusting its key-off resonance.
Furthermore, they can use the in-built USB port to either play along with audio files or connect a portable music player.
Commenting on the DP-990R, Roland said: "This new sophisticated addition offers amazing sounds and touch in a streamlined design."
The company added the instrument also looks "elegant and polished".
This comes after Roland published details of its new V-Synth GT Elastic Audio Synthesiser, which combines cutting edge sounds with improved user interface and file import capability.
