Roland launches new drivers for workstations and synth
Posted on 7 May 2009 15:16 to category : Instruments News
Roland has launched new 64-bit drivers for three of the most popular models in its keyboards range.
The hardware programs are designed for Windows Vista and improve the compatibility of the operating system with the SonicCell synthesizer module, the V-Synth GT elastic audio synthesizer and workstations from the Fantom-G Series.
Vince LaDuca, Roland's product marketing manager, commented: "The professional audio and MIDI interfaces in our line of products are now a powerhouse combination with any cutting-edge PC on the market."
He explained that the 64-bit drivers will give Roland users quicker audio processing than they have ever experienced before.
The new patches follow the release of a Juno-G Workstation Keyboard upgrade at the end of last month.
Completely free, the Version 2.0 update gives Juno-G users the audio-sampling functionality of a Fantom instrument among other features.
Both the drivers and the Juno-G software upgrade can be downloaded from the Roland US website.
