Roland launches new V-Piano
Posted on 5th May 2009 13:31 to category Instruments News
Musical instrument manufacturer Roland has launched its latest digital keyboard, the V-Piano.
Part of the renowned V series, which includes the V-Synth, V-Drums, V-Guitar and V-Brass, the company believes that the instrument will transform the world of the digital piano forever.
"Throw away all preconceived notions of what a digital piano was and is. This instrument changes everything," Roland's website states.
The instrument features a range of piano sounds from classic grands through to original "futuristic hybrids". All of the sounds can be customised, enabling players to create sounds that were previously impossible.
It also comes with what Roland claims is a ground-breaking living piano core and a brand new 88-note PHA-III Ivory Feel keyboard.
Sound samples and demonstations of the instrument are available on the Roland website, with the company promising that everyone, from performers to studio musicians and composers, will find the piano offers an "entirely new" experience.
