Roland VT-12 Vocal Trainer Unveiled
Posted on 31 Aug 2012 09:39 to category : Instruments News
Its visual pitch display, vocal exercises, backing tracks and dual voice recognition make the VT-12 an invaluable tool for singers.
The VT-12 will play a guide tone (over a range of 24 semitones) and respond to any sung note displaying the pitch accuracy on its illuminated pitch meter.
Singers can use the VT-12 to practice duets with the dual voice capability which can detect two voices simultaneously.
Berklee College of Music have worked with Roland to produce a wide range of exercises and accompaniments, both built in to the VT-12 and in an accompanying book, included with the VT-12.
Also built-in are the world standard ‘Concone Op. 9 Fifty Lessons’ classical voice exercises for in-depth vocal traning and a metronome for accurate time keeping.
Ten user memory slots allow vocalists to upload their own music from external devices such as iPods then use the Record and Review functions to sing along and evaluate their performance using either the in-built speaker or headphones.
The Roland VT-12 Vocal Trainer is available now from Gear4music.com.
