The Roland V-Combo VR-730 Performance Keyboard is one of two releases from Roland's 'Roland Future Redefined' initiative. Designed for the traveling musician, these keyboards have all the looks, playability, and functionality that professional, gigging musicians demand. Lightweight and easy to handle, the VR-730 can be carried to and from gigs with minimum effort, a welcome relief to those players always on the move. Weighing in at just 21 lb, the VR-730 can run on AA batteries, meaning that you needn't rely on the other external power supplies.

The Roland VR-730 73-note waterfall keyboard finds itself well suited to the more traditionally orientated player. If expressive articulation and technique heavy playing are your bag, the VR-730  is the ideal candidate.  With its exceptional response, the VR-730 responds remarkably well to techniques like trills, sputters and glissando.

Those who play live gigs often favour a simplistic, no-nonsense operation. As such the Roland V-Combo VR-730 features touch access to a selection of different sounds and settings including organ, acoustic/electric piano and synth engines. Each of these settings is arranged into three distinct panel sections, making navigating your live sound easier than you could ever imagine.

Featuring a Virtual Tone Wheel Organ engine, the VR-730 can effectively recreate the sound of a genuine tone wheel organ. With nine harmonic bars and intuitive control features, the VR-730 utilises Roland's expert handle on technology to replicate the exact tonal properties of its imitation.

The VR-730 is adept at replicating different historic pianos, taking a number of inspired presets off the back of the famed RD-2000. Additionally, the VR-730 features a number of vintage effects to complement a classic 'vintage' sound.  Featuring an integrated acoustic grand piano setting completed with 88-note stereo multisampling, the VR-730, is well versed in a number of different musical styles and genres. With an even further selection of SuperNATURAL synthesizer presets, the VR-730 can recreate anything from analog classics to more modern-day digital synths.
