Roland System-8 Plug-Out Synthesizer Coming Soon
System-8 is the latest plug-out Synthesizer from Roland, and features the advanced latest generation of the Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology. This advanced performance instrument delivers a wide range of powerful sounds inspired by collective of iconic Roland synths. The System-8 is capable of controlling up to three Roland Plug-out software synthesizers, and includes the new Jupiter-8 and Juno-106 plug-outs with this unit. These additional plug-outs provide users with immediate access to sonic reproductions of these Roland classics.
The System-8 is greatly equipped with a full host of features, including hands-on controls, polyphonic 64-step sequencer, vocoder, CV/GATE outputs, arpeggiator and other creative tools. The ever-growing ACB technology has received immense popularity for its ability to authentically recreate the sound and behavior of historic analog synths. The innovative ACB engine, powers eight voices of polyphony, three oscillators, hi-resolution filters, versatile LFOs and is also capable of producing classic analog-style pads, basses, and lead synths, as well as crisp, dynamic tones and evocative textures that are ideal for modern sound designers.
The System-8’s intuitive panel is features easy-to-use knobs, buttons, and sliders for hands-on sound creation and performance expression. Top-quality effects are also on hand for adding character and ambiance, from overdrive, distortion, and fuzz to delay, chorus, reverb, with added have grab-and-go controls that make it easy for users to enhance sounds as they play.
If that doesn't excite you, the System-8 also features a USB audio/MIDI interface for a DAW, 49 full-size keys which provide a responsive keyboard for recording MIDI tracks. There’s also a control surface mode for using the Systrem-8’s knobs, sliders, and buttons with soft synths, delivering unique and memorable synth performances.
