Roland SH-01A Introduced as Next Entry Into Boutique Line-up
Standing on the shoulders of the original, the SH-01A entertains a number of exciting new features that reciprocate an undoubtedly iconic feel. Reimagining the classic oscillators, filters and envelopes of the SH-101, the SH-01A Synthesizer encapsulates an entirely accurate recreation of the eighties legend.
Building upon the SH-101's monophonic capabilities the SH-01A can successfully support four voices and four modes; Mono, Poly, Unison and Chord. With 64-patch memories, the player can store and recall their favourite sounds at the press of a button, something not supported by the original model.
Fitted with an intuitive 100-step sequencer like the SH-101, the Roland Boutique SH-01A now features the ability to save and recall 64 individual sequence patterns, allowing you to define and sculpt your own tones without the hassle of retouching the parameters.
Fitted with Roland's legendary Analog Circuit Behavior technology, the SH-1A is able to accurately recreate all of the nuanced behaviours and properties of the original synthesizer. With its thick bass sounds, razor sharp leads and compositional sound effects, the SH-01A was a long standing favourite amongst musicians throughout the 1980s. Now thanks to the implementation of cutting edge Roland-engineered technology, users can once again explore vast soundscapes offered by the original.
Like the rest of its Boutique counterparts, the Roland SH-01A is exceptionally portable, powered by USB/batteries and includes a built-in speaker for monitoring sound whilst on the go. When mounted atop the optional K-25m Keyboard Unit, the SH-01A can be used as a small, comprehensive synthesizer unit featuring 25 velocity sensitive keys.
