Roland R-26 Portable Recorder Announced

Roland R-26 Portable Recorder Announced
Great Deals on Audio Recorders
The Roland R-26 portable recorder provides six simultaneous channels of high fidelity recording in a handheld device. Two different types of built in stereo mics, XLR/TRS inputs, a USB audio interface and more, the R-26 is focussed on solo and ensemble music recording. The R-26 has been completely re-designed to ensure the best quality audio and ease of use. For musicians on the move, this audio recorder can be powered by either internal AA batteries or AC adapter. Omnidirectional and XY mics are integrated into the R-26, providing options to suit every style of recording. Two XLR/TRS combo inputs have phantom power, meaning not only can line level devices be connected but professional mics can too. There is even a stereo mini-jack on board for a plug in powered mic. The recording process is very clever on board the R-26, allowing for either a single stereo file or three separate stereo files to be recorded. Up to 24 bit audio is supported, with file types ranging from WAV to BWF as well as MP3. The large touch screen allows fingertip control over the majority of functions, while the hardware controls are designed ergonomically for ultimate ease of use. Shipping with Cakewalk Sonar X1 LE, and with USB 2.0, the R-26 will integrate comfortably in to any musicians set up. The R-26 will be available from October.
