Roland Announce New MIDI Keyboard Controllers
Launching in September 2012, both the synth action A-49 and piano-action A-88 include onboard control of Roland's SuperNATURAL-powered synths, the INTEGRA-7, JUPITER-80 and JUPITER-50.
The release of Roland's latest two MIDI Keyboard Controller models give on-the-go musicians the convenience of lightweight and travel-ready instruments without having to compromise on high-end features.
The premium keyboard of the A-49 is enhanced to reduce noise and has velocity-sensitive keys with a rounded shape for user comfort. The synth-action controller will be available in black and white models so users can match the console to their existing equipment.
The piano-action A-88 will incorporate Roland's acclaimed Ivory Feel-G Keyboard which shares the same Progressive Hammer Action as many of Roland's stage and home pianos, but will be easy to transport for gigging musicians despite its full size and grand piano feel.
Both keyboards incorporate pitch bend and moderation, D-BEAM, octave and transpose controls, with user-assignable switches for customisation to achieve an effortless performance.
Super-connective, the A-49 and A-88 are compatible with PC and Mac operating systems, and offer USB and MIDI OUT connectors. Roland's SONAR XI LE DAW software for Windows is incorporated with the release of each of their brand-new products.
