Robert Pattinson gifts music instrument to homeless man
Whereas most people might chuck in some money into a homeless person's collection tin or offer them a sandwich, Hollywood heartthrob Robert Pattinson is all about giving music instruments.
The Hollywood heartthrob, who first shot to fame because of the vamp flick Twilight, surprised the homeless man in LA when he presented him with an acoustic guitar, reported the Sun.
R-Patz, as he is known in the tabloids, noticed the homeless man had a music instrument by his side but that it was considerably battered.
The kindhearted actor immediately sprung to action and headed to a music store where he not only bought the man a brand new guitar, but also treated himself to an electric guitar.
Pattinson, 25, is known for being a keen musician and recently helped teach his Twilight co-stars some of the basics, so it's no bombshell he wanted to add to his own collection
Luke Jones, 24, who was on holiday at the time and saw the whole thing, told the newspaper: "We were gobsmacked when he handed the acoustic guitar to the tramp. Robert quickly went back to his car and drove off.
"The busker was totally shell-shocked. He had no idea who Robert was – I think he thought the guitar was stolen."
